Community & Third Sector
Lancashire Mind has a long history of working closely with community and third-sector settings; helping to support the wellbeing of your team or others in your community.
Supporting Those Around You
Supporting individuals and making human connections with those who engage with your service or group underpins every interaction with those who use our services and encourages positive outcomes for those individuals. Our half day workshops ‘Supporting People’ and ‘Connect 5’ can ensure every interaction counts and provide a consistent approach to every project or service.
"According to Charity Today, December 2023, 67% of UK charities expect demand to increase in the coming year. With more people reaching out for support, upskilling staff and volunteers to have the skills to provide appropriate support and signposting around mental health is the foundation for many third sector organisations and community groups."
Supporting the wellbeing of your team
Increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health and wellbeing. Our training courses are delivered by experienced and dedicated trainers. They are passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing in Lancashire through the delivery of informative, interactive workshops and courses.

Suicide first aid training
Be proud to wear the Orange Button
The Orange Button signifies you are a connector, a person who can talk about suicide with compassion and understanding, that you can provide basic signposting and you can be asked and will ask about suicide. Upskilling your team to have the confidence and skills to have those conversations is an important part of any safeguarding policy. Suicide First Aid Lite, Suicide First Aid Youth, Suicide First Aid Full Day and Adult Mental Health First Aid are all workshops provided by Lancashire Mind that are aligned with the Orange Button.
"1 in 20 people will experience thoughts of suicide. "
