Pierce’s fundraising reaches new heights for Lancashire Mind
Pierce Business Advisory and Accountancy Group have reached for the sky with their incredible fundraising efforts for Lancashire Mind.
Eight colleagues from the Blackburn based business took part in a skydive raising an amazing £3,627 for their local mental health charity.
The business, who have selected Lancashire Mind as their Charity of the Year, have raised over £5,000 since January 2022 and have plenty more fundraising events and activities planned for the rest of the year.

Becca Westwell was one of the team from Pierce who took part in the skydive. Becca said: “I am so grateful for Lancashire Mind to giving me this opportunity and cause to do something wildly out of my comfort zone. I’ve got to say I found the freefall terrifying but the views and whole experience once the parachute was out made it so worth it – I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventurous way to support a fantastic mental wellbeing charity. Raising so much money Lancashire Mind was certainly the cherry on top for me and I am humbled by all the donations made by my friend’s an family; they made the £500 total feel easy.”
Fundraising Lead Emma Bateson said: “We can’t thank the team at Pierce enough for the support they have given Lancashire Mind through the skydive and other events this year. They really have gone above and beyond as individuals and an organisation.
“We rely on the support of organisations such as Pierce to aid us in our vision to support everyone in Lancashire to have the best possible mental health and wellbeing. Donations from individuals and organisations allow us to invest in areas of work where we can see an immediate need, and where there is no funding. The impact of fundraising from organisations such as Pierce is significant and impactful.”
