Mental Elf
Mental Elf is our flagship fundraising event held annually as we enter December.
Mental Elf is a fun run with the emphasis on fun – we have a 2k route and 5k route for all ages and a 10k route for people aged 16+. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a stroll in the park, the event is for everyone, with the 10k an option if you’d like a bit more of a challenge.
It’s about coming together with your local community, to do something that’s good for you, whilst giving something back by helping to raise vital funds for Lancashire Mind. You’ll be connecting with others, doing some physical activity, spending some time in nature and getting the feel-good factor of supporting your local mental health charity – all things that help to boost your own mental wellbeing. As well as the fun runs we have indoor activities so there’s something for your friends and family to do whilst they’re waiting to cheer you over the finish line.
"Mental Elf has a great community spirit with everyone taking part smiling and greeting each other like friends. Mental Elf participant"

This year’s event
Worden Park, Leyland – Date to be confirmed for end of November/beginning of December.
Mental Elf wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the wonderful local companies who support us each year through sponsorship – there are lots of fantastic opportunities for businesses to get involved.
There are lots of different ticket options but look out for our Eager Elf tickets, which are released around August/September and offer great discounts for people who book early.
