2025: A year to transform lives, reflect and celebrate.

2025 marks a monumental milestone for Lancashire Mind as we celebrate 25 years of delivering life-changing mental health support across the county.

We’ve been dedicated to supporting mental health across Lancashire since the year 2000, when three local Minds merged to create Lancashire Mind. Since then, over 50,000 people have received vital help thanks to your incredible support and the commitment of our incredible staff and volunteers.

Throughout 2025, we’ll embark on a year-long anniversary campaign to not only reflect on our impact but to rally our community for the work still to be done.

There is still so much more to do. These are just a handful of the reasons why we can't and won't stop.

  • Currently up to 400,000 people in Lancashire could be experiencing a mental health condition.

  • Lancashire is in the ten worst performing areas in England and Wales for Children and Young Peoples NHS services.

  • More people in Lancashire die by suicide than the UK average.

  • The crisis in poor mental health is calculated at £300 billion a year in England, double the total NHS budget

"This year is not just a celebration of our past but a call to action for our future. With your support, we can continue to break down barriers, reduce stigma, and ensure that no one in Lancashire faces a mental health challenge alone."

There may also be a few more surprises along the way so please keep an eye on our social platforms for more ways that you can get involved.

If you have a story about Lancashire Mind from the last 25 years we’d love to hear from you, or please donate to our services.
